Is This a Demon?
Dear
Starwitch,
I have a serious question... I need serious help.
There is something bad after me an evil spirit and I cannot make it
leave or protect myself enough.
I'll fall asleep
and I'll be awoken by it calling my name.
I have taken pictures and it's even in a few pictures. It has red and black eyes
-
the black around the red. The nose and the mouth look scary as hell. It
even appears to have horns. It will suddenly get cold before I hear the voices.
Am I dealing with a demon?

I don't know if what you are experiencing is a demon or not, but if you
have pictures I would love to see what that looks like. Please email
them to me.
It's actually very common to hear voices when drifting off to sleep.
Hearing your name being called is not at all unusual. It could be that you're experiencing
hypnagogic hallucinations, which just happens with some people
(including me), and because you're fearful of it, it seems like demons are
around you. Or, it could be that your own fear has attracted some negative
entities.
I don't really believe in demons, but I do believe that there are confused
and negative spirits out there, and if your energy is similar to theirs,
they may find you and decide to hang out at your house and leech off
your energy. If you use drugs and alcohol, you may have attracted an earthbound
spirit who is addicted to those substances and is trying to feed off of
your highs. I'm not saying that's what happened though, so don't let your
imagination go wild with that thought.
Always remember, above all, that "What you resist, persists," and "What you
think about most is what you will manifest." So if you want this problem
to go away, the only thing you can do is to stop thinking about it. Take
your attention off of it. You might decide to do a ritual to say goodbye
to it, but after that, let it go and don't put your energy and thoughts
into it anymore because doing so will only make it grow bigger (the
problem, not the demon).
Read the comments on this page. The article is good to read too, but it's
the comments after the article that will really make you feel better. So
many people experience weird things while they are drifting off to sleep.
