Do you think there has been a rise in new members asking for spells and then leaving after 3 posts because they didn't hear what they wanted??

Okay, well, I made some changes to the ranks. I got rid of a few of the ranks since they were originally set up for the Inner Circle system. We don't actually need that many ranks. Here are the new ranks.

Be'Witches 25 posts
Hocus Folk'us 100 posts
Proud Pagan 300 posts
Official Earth Lover 500 posts

I'm still not entirely happy with the names. Two of them are cute names that Akana made up. The other two are more serious names. If you have any ideas, let me know.

I LOVE Be'Witches and Hocus Folk'us :D

But not Official Earth Lover as it is a sad fact that millions of pagans out there really don't give a hoot about the earth.

I liked Super Witchy Member that was in place before.

Yeah, need something more witty. I'm sure Thet will have some more ideas.

Unfortunately, I can't think of anything, but I will tell you when (if?) i do.

I changed it back to SuperWitchy Member.

The only problem I saw with that title was that many of the older members don't really practice witchcraft like they did when they were younger. Most of them seem to have moved on to a more spiritual lifestyle. I don't consider myself a witch anymore and if I'm not mistaken, Hedge told me that she doesn't either. But maybe that's what "SuperWitchy" means... someone who has studied witchcraft and spirituality deeply enough to realize that they don't need to perform spells to acheive their goals or manifest their desires. The more you learn about it, the more you realize that having a disciplined mind is the best way to create the life that you desire. (It also would make your spells much more efficient if you enjoy spell-casting.)

Titles are titles and will never really fit every one.

For instance I like the Proud Pagan title but I'm not a witch and don't care to be identified as one.
On the other hand, there are those that would insist on be so identified.

If your going to use a ranking system, then YOU need to decide what YOU want and go with it. And you do need a ranking system as it does help promote postings (a human nature thing)

Truth is unique, it seldom has meaning for anyone other than the one who speaks it.
My opinion is my own. I am willing to share it, though you are not required to accept it.

Amen, brothers and sisters. i know this is a very serious topic but humour sometimes ease the pain and boredom.

how about putting a a small section for non-commited members?
