The Witch's Creed

Hear now the words of the witches, the secrets we hid in the night, when dark was our destiny's pathway, that now we bring forth in the light. Mysterious water and fire, the earth and the wide-ranging air, by hidden quintessence we know them, and will and keep silent and dare. The birth and rebirth ...

Re: Book of Shadows indexing problems

Have you tried divider tabs or pages? Binders are great for a BoS as you can add to it and organize it easily. Then you have finished what you want for the first you can write it all into a book. Just an idea. :) You can get post-it tabs that stick on the side of the page. It's not 'pretty' per se b...

Re: seeds and seedlings?

Not sure where to go online, but a local dept store with a garden center or a nursery would probably have most of them.

I work at Kmart's Garden center so I know Burpee has a lot of herbs in seed form. I'm not sure about seedlings though.

Re: Blessed be!

There is a slight difference in meaning between the two pronunciations. Bless-ed be is more of a formal greeting or wellwishing, where as blessed be has more of a religious conotation. More like a blessing.

That and it just sounds right that way. Fits better in sentence structure and such.

Re: ALL WITCHES IN UK PARTICULARLY LONDON AREA MUST READ

Both articles can be read at these links: The Sun BBC As an aside to this. Given the scenario I am by no way condoning these actions. However, I would ask that everyone understand that certain people, cultures, and areas still condemn witchcraft. It should be noted that the pair were originally from...

Re: ALL WITCHES IN UK PARTICULARLY LONDON AREA MUST READ

Update, I have located additional information on BBC. Seems they have been foun guilty and sentenced. No word on sentence yet. Here is the article from BBC.co.uk Witchcraft murder: Couple guilty of Kristy Bamu killing A couple have been found guilty of murdering a teenager they had accused of using ...

Re: More than one ongoing spell

I'm not certain. I would think that as long as you can continue to provide energy to the first and continue work towards that end as well as the new one, there shouldn't be any major impacts. Whether there is an effect on either is not known to me, but if you do cast the second, let me know if there...

Re: aliens or faeries??

Possibly. It should be noted that radiation is a natural occurence. Granted, not usually without cause, but there are a lot of unknowns around a crop circle.

Re: Don't eat it Snow White! Poisonous herbs

Just poisonous from observation. I live in Northern Virginia where we have the Apple Blossom festival. We have flowering apple trees everywhere around town and no one seems to be in a hurry to pick them. I'm not certain but I think the local junkies would jump on it if it did have other side effects.

Re: Magical Theory 101

You may be able to 'tweak' a spell in progress but I couldn't begin to guess at what the results might be. It would probably be similar to crossing a circuit into another one. It might work, then again, it might blow-up. My knowledge of psychology is rudamentary at best. I've read a couple books and...

Re: Magical Theory 101

As stated in the title, this is only theory and isn't/hasn't/probably won't be proven to be fact. This is my current state of knowledge and is continually developing as I learn more. An insulator is used to negate/reduce levels of energy passed through it, to contain them safely. The wand would be g...

Re: Make up spell?

I'm more of a conflict resolution guy, but it sounds like he's the narcasistic, manipulative, and overbearing type. He wants control and to gain it he puts everyone else in a position that allows him to do what he wants when he wants. He continues to aggrivate the issue simply to cover whatever it i...

Anyway, what exactly seems to be the issue? What's he doing/saying that's aggrivating the situation?

Neosporin with vitamin E. Works great on burns. Aloe is also a great natural burn healer. :) I'm sure there's other stuff, too. Other than that, I don't have much.

Re: Buying herbs on the internet...

I've had no problems with it. Just be careful where it comes from and be certain on the exact type of Sage you get. Some varieties have some "interesting" side effects.
