Eretik said it before I could :) It's not negative, but it's very very intense, and you can't really "beat it down again" if you know what I mean. As in, it's very hard to get past and focus on other things.

Depends on how the flowers were perserved I guess? Something will always be lost during drying, but if you have (flash-)frozen things, then there's minimum loss.

Again, about the mechanics of the idea...who knows? Well, question would be I guess what is gained? Has anyone learnt something new? What are the chances your supposed attacker will learn "Ok, so I was talking about beating this guy up, and then I can't remember anything for the rest of the ev...

Have you considered that this might be Kundalini energy rising?

I used to have a very similar response as a teen, and it would frusterate the hell out of me that I couldn't control it.

I have the same problem with the RW deck - not that I actively find it repulsive, but I just can't find the interest. Tarot of the Witches is IMO evil - the pictures are great (you love that kind of stuff), but the interpretations always seem to try to twist everything to the worst possible outcome....

Hmm, as far as I can tell, we've already left the topic that Shaman brought up, namely how to make poisons, and are romping in the field of "Would you use a substance which is not necessarily harmful, but would incapacitate the person...such as a hallucinogenic or strong sedative, if it would p...

In terms of sedative, long enough to get the hell away from the aggressors. True - but how and when are you going to administer it? Most sedatives I know are either injected or consumer orally, work relatively slowly, the effect is both dose dependent and varies heavily depending on the individual,...

No. If I can get close enough to slip someone a mickey, I can get close enough to talk. As Esme says, it's all about Headology. Although, there will always be extreme cases where you can't talk to people. Once I ran into a guy who was so enraged that I've never felt anything like it. We were three o...

You may want to watch that video again with the sound turned off. I'm sorry to say, but I found the sound-effects highly suggestive, and without them, the video not nearly as frightening. Also, many things in there make me sceptical, such as the fact that often you have a very small or limited frame...

Also this isn't an intervention based cry for help. My apologies if I didn't make myself clear. Thing is that if any of those christians you've been debating with google your handle, it will lead them directly to these forums, where finding your posts is an easy matter. With the recent events in sc...

Shaman, I'd delete this topic now, walk away and never talk about this again. Your handle has already left a trail on the web. You have posted your pictures all over. If you are asking for an intervention, I have a feeling you may get it, but it would be shame to ruin the future of someone who is as...

By now you should know enough about me to know that I'm obsessed with nailing down the world into small, rational boxes where I can keep an eye on it, so forgive me for my next words. Most of these ideas have been seen in one form or another before, and although your execution is powerful and touchi...

Ehm, not at all, didn't feel judged. I just think that often we expect our rolemodels to be holier than ourselves, and perhaps trying to score points by pointing out that I, of course, didn't (and perhaps apologizing/justifying why I didn't do more).

And it's girl, actually :)

Honey is also good to counteract burns. It contains anti-bacterial properties, plus it aids the healing process. I know it's been used in hospital-wards for 3rd degree burns.

I'd stay away from butter.
