Find some Honey gathered LOCALLY in your area and add it to your tea or eat a bit on toast, etc., everyday. The bees have used the same pollen producers aggravating you to make the honey and have converted it in such a way as to give relief when ingested. Has to be local or will not work. Many farm ...

Original text by Cecil Williamson: 'Figure of mother goose. She was a witch - see her broom and high hat. In the west country witches make use of geese in many ways when working at their craft, for to them geese are endowed with numerous magical qualities and have played an age-old part in the dome...

My answer would be NO - Creationism is a subject of one's faith and not a matter of scientific fact.

It would be appropriate in a non-secular educational institution, namely church sponsored schools. But state run schools fall under the 'separation of church & state'.

Congrats! The great thing is that your wedding is YOUR wedding! Try not to worry about pleasing or upsetting anyone but you and your fiancé. And an outside wedding would be gorgeous and blend the two faiths w/o drawing too fine a point to the differences. http://www.tennesseebridal.com/local/tennes...

Got it

My point being that there is nothing wrong or 'less' about not doing something exactly how it was done thousands of years ago. The pagan melting pot of today is just as valid as any ritual done by those long ago fore-bearers.

Hindus & Jews of today do not worship exactly as they did thousands of years ago -- by your definition then this would invalidate them as an 'old' religion. Basically ALL religion is 'old' religion because those that we worship are ageless. Using semantics to separate groups into Old [good] and ...

Here is an example that might help you better understand what I mean by saying Wicca didn't exist until the 1960s: So let's say you remember having at least one past life[Represents Paganism]. Well you examine who you were then, the life you led etc. You come to understand that while that life infl...

It's all where one stands really. All practicing Pagans today have no real clue, save some native americans, how their particular Deity was worshiped eons ago. And do we really need to walk in the same patterns, make the same offerings, etc. to be able to call ourselves followers of that Deity? Some...

In all technicality almost all religions took from another and made it their own. As an eclectic pagan I completely succumb to this. Now, the difference with Christianity is that it took from us and then began yelling at us about being heathens after stripping us of our customs. They took what we h...

The worship of Mithra is really where Jesus Christ came from - one misogynistic faith fathering another, really. But I always maintain that the writers of the bible could have done more than just change the main character's name. Talk about outright plagiarism. The roots of Goddess worship [which fl...

@Imiko: They didn't take from Wicca. They took from paganism. Wicca didn't exist until the 1960s. Paganism has been around for an exceptionally long time, believed to be as long as man has existed, but not completely proven. Since we don't know precisely when we came to be. This is a point many peo...
