I'd be interested to know about the Druidic view of sacrifice. Wikipedia says that the old druids, before and during the first decades of roman rule, practised sacrifice, both human and animal. There's a fair amount of evidence that the ancient Celtic (as well as Germanic) peoples practiced human s...

Recommended book about druidry

If you are looking for more modern reads on Druids, I would recommend the following; A Brief History of the Druids , By: Peter Berresford Ellis, or The Druids , By: Stuart Piggott. Both of these books are historically correct, while remaining scholarly. Jean Markale's The Druids: Celtic Priests of ...

I have a shrine dedicated to Thoth and Bast (although I don't follow an Egyptian path). As rainysoul said, read up on her, as much as you can find, and see where it takes you. Some seem to think that Bast and Sekhmet are one and the same; I am not quick to make such associations myself, but it certa...

Sounds like a mixture of Pantheism and/or Animism (links below). I concur that Shamanism is probably a good path for you to investigate.

Then you should have grounds for taking action. They can't legally restrict your religious displays on the one hand while at the same time allowing others to display theirs.

In Wicca, witchcraft, and various forms of ceremonial magick, "spirit" is the fifth element, represented by the topmost point of the pentacle. It represents the practitioner, i.e., you... for it is spirit (us) who acts "above" the other four elements to bring them together in the...

In Italian witchcraft, Lucifer is the God of Light, and the Father of Aradia, and the brother/lover of Diana. This is correct; much of it comes from Charles Leland's book Aradia, or, The Gospel of the Witches . Lucifer was a Roman god originally; he was the god of the first light of the day. "...

I don't know if we're "ready" but I think it would be good for humanity to have proof that there's other intelligent life out there. People can be rather short-sited and egocentric... they pay little attention to history and the world around them. For so many, their world - their "her...

They HATE that, when I tell them, by definition, the Bible, Quran, Torah, etc. are ALL Mythologies. They cant rebuke fact, and will sidestep and pervert the argument like they always do. And then the response - which I've actually gotten on more than one occasion - is "but we know the Bible is...

They want us to learn about their religion but are so biased they wont try to learn or understand anything that we consider our path in life... Unfortunately that's not just a Mormon trait. I get that sort of thing from Baptists sometimes too. Recently the guy who was my best friend when we were gr...
