Re: Has anyone here gone to a Naturopath?
Ah, I didn't have to pay as he was a friend of my roommate at the time. You should get a consult for free, I would think.

Re: Something Shadowy...??? help!
Other than scared, how did the shadow make you feel? Did it feel like bad energy? It might have been around for a long time and you just now caught sight, too. I would do a protection spell and clean house, as Luna Lisa mentioned. I'd do that regardless of how it made you feel. No harm in being safe.

Re: Recommend Books?
I really like Grimoire for the Green Witch. I like the language and layout of the book. It's a helpful reference as well as being a good read. It's written by Ann Moura as Ravencry mentioned.

Re: Has anyone here gone to a Naturopath?
I went to one some years ago when my metabolism was way out of whack. He was immensely helpful and got me back on track by changing my diet and using vitamins. I learned a lot about my body and energy in the process. I highly recommend seeing one.

Re: Midlife crisis or binding?
I am sorry that you are so unhappy. It sounds like a midlife or just life crisis to me, which is even harder to deal with if you have had it easy at some point. It's impossible to be happy when all aspects of your life are under stress. I would try to do something for yourself first, to get some of ...

Re: Face Soaps
I'm 40-something and was still breaking out until I did the following: - use a basic glycerin soap to wash morning and night. Be gentle with water not too hot or cold. - exfoliate with a sugar scrub made from sugar and a dab of liquid glycerin soap. I have it ready made in a little containerr near t...

Spirit in considered an element in the area where I live. I'd never heard of it before. Reminds me of umami. ![smileydance smileydance](./images/smilies/smileydance.gif)

Re: herbal starter kits
very close but I'm looking for the already grown and dried forms. I'm really just wanting a bit of this and that to start to replace medicines we use. I cringe when I give my kids meds knowing the herbs can do so much better! I think I'm going to see what the health food stores have in bulk. I liked...

herbal starter kits
Is anyone familiar with getting a medicinal herb starter kit with like 20 herbs? I've seen them somewhere. Perhaps it's from a herbalist course? I'd be interested in that, if anyone knows of someplace online.
thanks in advance.

Re: Cloning plants: Easier than it seems
We use root tone for getting cuttings to start. Just about anything will grow with it. It's a rooting hormone powder and comes in a little bottle. I've found it helpful to start some things in sand as the growing medium, too. This worked well from shrubs.Once the roots are established, just replant ...

I'd love to find one in the US. Does anyone know of a good place for bulk herbs?

Re: Who's all planting for Imbolc?
I'm going to get some seeds germinating, too. I think it's a tad early for tomatoes here but I'll do a bunch of herbs. I've grown rosemary from seed a number of times because no one had told me it was hard to do. So try not to let others energy interfere, if possible. If it feels good, then it will ...
