Re: Including pets/familiars in rituals

My familiar is a German Shepherd / Wolf mix, and any time I'm doing any sort of ritual or magic in general it seems like she always wants to be by my side, and just watch. I think it helps, not only that she's there adding her energy to mine, but also just to have a friend there with me :)

Sigil Spell

Greetings all! This is a little ritual thing I did for sigil use for another person just a few hours ago. A word of warning, this involves burning things, so be VERY careful when working with fire! Basically, you start by writing your sigil(s) on paper (preferably eco-friendly because you should do ...

Re: Activating a sigil or a spell

That's a wonderful idea, Yanakhan! There's a creek near my house that I always pass when I go for a run that holds a bit of significance for me, since it provides nourishment to my familiar when she comes with me, and I never even thought to incorporate it in my magic but that makes a lot of sense.

Interpretation

Hey all! It's been far too long! I basically just have a question on the interpretation of a reading I just did, to see what you guys think. I've been getting really into Tarot, having finally gotten my first deck, and so has my boyfriend. He did a "How will your week be" reading for me, j...

Re: Spell to Hide Book of Shadows from Prying Eyes

This is a wonderful idea, beautifully written! I'm not much one for spoken incantations, so I drew a sigil of protection on the front of mine and wrote the terms on the inside cover (protected against any who read without my express permission, a curse upon any who do, which I also outlined- I take ...

Re: My Belief

Don't worry haha, I understand! I believe the God and Goddess, and all other gods and goddesses, are manifestations of the All. I believe it uses the image of gods and goddesses, giving them different appearances and things to each different person, to better suit their understanding of the world. D...

Re: Spirit Animals?

Yes, exactly! I was trying to figure out the wording of what I meant, and "symbolic representation of our subconscious" is perfect.

Spirit Animals?

Hey everyone! So lately I've been thinking a lot about spirit animals, and I wanted to know what you guys think on the subject. I personally believe in spirit animals, but I don't feel like they're completely different entities like some do, but rather they're part of someone. Like, for instance, I'...

Re: Which Type(s) of Empathy Do You Experience the Most?

Definitely physical empathy. I feel emotional empathy a lot, but I feel physical empathy strongest. I was even able to guess my sister's pregnancy before she told anyone, because I started feeling the symptoms of pregnancy myself  in situations like that I start to feel it's more a curse than...

My Belief

I thought I'd post this here just to really clear this up for myself, I feel like I need to put it in words to better understand it, so any and all feedback is of course greatly appreciated :) so basically, I believe in three deities, the God, Goddess, and The All. The All is the universe personifie...

Re: Is it okay for a Wiccan to worship more than one God/God

I was wondering on the opposite end... Is it ok to worship only one? I believe in one universal pantheistic being. The "gods and goddesses" are merely aspects or pieces of this. I think you do what feels right. As the Wiccan way- An it harm none, do what ye will. This sounds a bit like Th...

I'm Back!... Again!

Hey everyone! It's been... A few years, I think?? Definitely too long! So I thought I'd just reintroduce myself, and tell you guys a little bit about how my life has gone :fairy: so I'm a senior now in high school, I'll actually be done on May 6, just about four weeks away, and I definitely cannot w...

Chai Tea

Merry meet! I don't really know any magical properties of chai tea, and I've never had it, but my mom said this tastes just like chai tea but better: 2 Tablespoons of butter 2 Tablespoons of brown sugar 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract A dash of cinnamon 1 mug of milk Combine the butter and brown sugar...

Warding

Merry meet all! I found this earlier, on the topic of warding (sorry it's a bit long): "Wards are stationary measures designed to either defend a point, notify the caster, or any number of other purposes. From my experiences, they each have a few characteristics that can be used to classify and...
