Re: Litha/Midsummer and SAD
Hi there, Luckypenny. I too am affected by SAD in the summer months, and am eagerly counting the days until the days are shorter and the weather is much more favorable so I can feel like myself again. To help you sleep, I recommend tea with chamomile, lavender, or valerian root. Even just making tim...

Ever since the Canadian wildfire smoke began trickling into the US, I've been heavily congested too.

Fascinating!
I've had my poliosis streak all my life. But stress and cortisol can do absolutely fascinating things to our bodies sometimes.

I think it's fairly common. I've lost people too and can no longer recall the sound of their voice.
My condolences, FB.

That's a shame you're losing such a cool hangout spot.
That treehouse looks very well constructed. I can only imagine how much it's costing to tear it down.

Re: Tips for being a good writer
I find it easiest when I do an outline for my books. Even if it's a basic one that just follows the three acts. But generally I do a breakdown of each chapter and what will happen in it. Later on I don't have to necessarily stick to everything in the outline if something comes up, but it gives me a...

Re: Pandemic doubters
I was diagnosed with it in November (as well as my two year old and my youngest who was five months old at the time) despite sanitizing everything that came into my house. But... my husband is an essential worker and his coworkers walk around with their masks around their necks. I'm still having sym...
