Re: Please help identify these?

So I'll give my guesses, marble and agate eggs, marble small sphere, brecciated jasper large sphere, picture jasper heart. Least confident about green egg, most about heart. The museum has an I.d. day for rockhounds if I'm still curious by then. Thanks!

Please help identify these?

Re: Fairy gardens

HopeChild, love natural settings like that! I think it's more fitting. Sorry, all I know is that I clicked upload attachment... I do not even know enough to know what you are asking! I probably need to Google more terms before playing on forums. *everything I say could have a lol behind it but that ...

Fairy gardens

Does anyone like to keep fairy gardens? The one outside is surrounded and sometimes hidden by periwinkle. I like that it usually only contains natural materials, but for the time being added items that had been kept amongst houseplants. Equal opportunity- doors for fairies and gnomes.

Re: Being "drawn" to houses and cemeteries?

I also love visiting cemeteries and old architecture, but file it with the same love of museums. There is a difference though, in that the cemeteries or mausoleums have to feel "forgotten". I'm not drawn to randomly stopping at any that are well-kept. I feel surrounded by a peaceful energy...

Re: Blue moon plans?

About knee high? My husband says around 500 lbs! Around here, everyone seems to have the equipment to move rocks, lol. Case in point, how we are getting these rocks- a friend's father moved about 30 of these rocks to put in his field to prevent people parking there. The friend is tired of mowing aro...

Re: Blue moon plans?

Well, I ended up celebrating a large rock! My husband and I have always wanted to put a stone circle in the field. Placed the first stone and goal is to complete it by next blue moon/2018.

Re: Blue moon plans?

It's a definition by a version of the farmers almanac, and I give it credit since it predates the second full moon in a month definition. It is the third moon of a season with four. Still rare enough to celebrate both!

Blue moon plans?

I make sure to set out enough water to last until the next blue moon (either definition counts to me) and usually try to do knot spells. Anyone have their routines?

Re: Tips n' Tricks

Great ideas! I'll try for seven, too... *After picking many different herbs, found it faster to use sanitized plastic flower pots to rinse each, instead of a colander. *It is an old trick to blow into a horse's nostrils, but works for other animals that use nose-to-nose greetings. If there's enough ...

Re: Natural bug remedies for plants

Neem Oil has been excellent for me. I've used it on all my roses, also safe for use on houseplants. It's not a quick kill, but is effective and a mild fungicide. Most often sprayed on a schedule of every 7-14 days, but it also works systemically as a drench. Just have to be careful about timing, lik...
