Great news!

My wife and I started trying to conceive after the start of the year, this time with me being the one to carry. We've been doing what we need to do, and right now, I'm really late. I may be pregnant right now!

I really hope so :)

Re: Ideas for next year's herb garden

I already grow rosemary, sage, coriander and spearmint. I'll be adding the lemon balm, peppermint and thyme to the herb garden. The garlic and ginger can go to one section of the regular garden. I think I have a place for the lavender, and I've read up on echinacea, and I think that'll make a good a...

Ideas for next year's herb garden

I've been thinking about adding some new plants in the herb garden next year. I'm thinking of adding lemon balm, ginger garlic and peppermint. They have their uses in cooking, but they also have positive health effects.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd love to hear what other folks grow <3

Re: My Trinidad Scorpion Butch t chilli plant

I've been experimenting with the peppers. I've blended them to mix in with chili, but when I do, I'm the only one in our house that can eat it. I've also made an extract of the peppers, which became useful to keep animals away from the outside trash, which had been scattered by stray animals. I spra...

Re: My Trinidad Scorpion Butch t chilli plant

I wanted to grow a Carolina Reaper plant inside, but my wife didn't feel like that would be best for our daughter. I planted it outside, and it's been producing. Thinking about getting some kind of cover to keep it from freezing out there. One big positive is that insects do not bother the reaper pl...

Interfaith marriage

I've been happily married to the woman of my dreams for a few years now. We're both women, so we had to get married out of state at first because our home state of Virginia didn't recognize, accept or practice them yet. With the ruling by SCOTUS, we're now legally married everywhere in the US. Anywa...

Re: Essential herbs to keep on hand

Chiming in from VA :)

What I grow in my little herb garden is sage, coriander, parsley, mint and rosemary. Recently, I brewed a tea with my mint, and it was delicious. My wife likes to use herbs in her cooking, which is even better when they're fresh.
