Wish I were as optimistic about that as you seem to be. It's hard for me to believe that the majority of Americans will ever 'wake up'.

Remote Control Remotely guided to the pillars, lost, designed to fool but not to spare the cost collected in the form of flesh and bones incinerated in this holocaust their RC "planes" have wrought upon the drones... far better known as patriotic clones. And now that more than fifteen yea...

Our cats, Saturn and Ollie, know the score. They wouldn't dream of upsetting the delicate balance between the allowed and forbidden places! Image

I wish.

Re: Beneath the Ornaments

I haven't put a tree up in years. It was kind of watching all the little furry whiskered ornaments pop out. The cats really enjoyed it. I even strung my own cat safe garland for them. It's just such a pain to set it up and take it down. ... No Christmas tree?! That cat in your avatar looks ...

That's part of the beauty of a plastic tree. It goes up the day after Thanksgiving and stays fresh as a daisy 'til you pack it back up a month or two after Christmas. LOL.

Beneath the Ornaments

Since nothing should be left to be as Nature had it grow, I decorate my Christmas tree with things that blink and glow, repressing long-held feelings of inadequacy while I string the tinsel from above to drape its limbs with style; and like the gold and silver used to ornament myself, I hang some ba...

Opposing Forces?

Two hands, one left the other right, oppose but for the common goal to bring together dark and light components in the mixing bowl— a sight one stirs above the dried and moisten'd hidden down below; a scent one wishes to abide and therefore seasons to bestow... a taste of what could only be a combin...

Prophets of the Fall

Prophets of the Fall Shades of sadness and anticipation in our children's eyes prophesy to us of the impending Fall; greying clouds upon the canvases of ever darker skies; howling winds that coldly mimic mournful cries... both transcendent and descended from the polar region's heights, where the Bo...

Re: Crowley Quote

Sorry, if the OP is hard to follow (I'm not at all confident I understand it very well, myself!); such ideas have proven to be notoriously difficult to put into words even for better educated people. An analogy: imagine one of the 7 billion billion billion atoms that together compose the average hum...

Yes, as it is with most of the esoteric sciences, my knowledge of the Tarot is the stuff of legends.

The Fool and the Ace of Pentacles (Tarot Sonnet #1)

The Fool and the Ace of Pentacles [/u] Eyes to the sky, with caution to the wind, the Fool steps out with no regard for cliffs, as if to kick some "buts" despite the "ifs", and whistles with no time to feel chagrined 'bout little things like 50-meter drops. His feathered plume e...
