Re: A work in progress..

So today, I added light...I like how it turned out. Maybe I'll post another pic after dark so it shows better.

Re: A work in progress..

I'm in love!! And awe! I adore your altar. I love all the personal energy involved. It's the ideal size too, how awesome. I'd love to see how your altar changes with the seasons, if you do continue to take photos of it in the future. :) Thank you...I sure will take more pics. There are more things ...

Re: General Discussion about this forum goes here

I am in the process of getting a BOS together, but for me, the plain old $2 USD black binder just seems so cheap. To me, a BOS seems like it should be nice and durable. Something to last many years. I'm looking for a leatherbound (or simulated leather) three-ring binder, preferrably stamped/embossed...

Re: Could it be?

I'm pretty certain it's the eyes that make the connection now. I had to deal with an unattended death two nights ago. The police department called us for assistance to help move him so they can continue their investigation. He had passed away several hours before. I didn't see his eyes, and I didn't...

Re: A work in progress..

Thank you! I printed out what I wanted and transferred it with carbon paper, then used a Dremel to etch it out. Enamel paint for the lettering, sand, a quick burn with a torch, and polyurethane. Same way I did the rest of the table (aside from lettering and such).

Re: A work in progress..

We have Hackberry here, some call it Beaverwood. Not sure why, never seen a beaver near one, nor have I ever used it for a wand. I must seek it and see what I can do with it. The copper winding is interesting, maybe incorporate a quartz or hematite crystal for power amplification and focus. I do pl...

Re: Could it be?

This puts me in mind of the stories my father and uncle used to tell about fighting in Vietnam. They saw many of their friends and enemy soldiers die. This formed a very strong bond among those who survived. My father often said that he remembered the deaths of each of his friends vividly and often...

Re: Could it be?

I like watching reality programmes about rescue helicopters, ambulance services, hospitals etc (because I'm interested in what people do for a living). I notice the rescued people are always very thankful to the people who were there to help them. Maybe the spirits are visiting to say thanks? Sent ...

My wife and I are both Leos, so most definitely Fire! Of course, between my screen name, the tattoo on my right arm, my avatar, and my profession, I can neither hide nor deny it if I wanted to!

Re: Off-Grid: Could this lifestyle be good for one's path?

The sea is certainly very nice. One of the very nice parts of living where I am now (prairies and plains) is that the sea, the forests, and the deserts are all within a four hour drive. I would love to have them all closer. But having it all closer would mean living somewhere like Oregon or Californ...

Re: Could it be?

Thank you all so much for your responses...they really helped. I've always just turned the lights on...perhaps when they show up, I should speak with them right then. I certainly don't want to hold them up on heir journey! The reason they show up repeatedly could be because they also care about me a...
