Ginger, do you ground yourself enough during ritual??? Also do u cast circle and protect yourself enough?? These could be the problems... if you're not grounded enough all the energy in ritual can make you go loopy hahaha. I noticed that heaps when we used to do ritual chanting in my old coven.

Maybe before you do any ritual or spell do a meditation where you visualise your legs as tree roots going deep into mother earth and drawing up her energy from her core, filling up your entire body..

I also have a few ritual postures that may help you that i learnt in my training as a priestess. Let me know and i'll PM them to you

That would be great(:
When i meditate, i would visualize roots growing out of the bottom of my spine, and make its way to the center of the earth for energy. But, other then that, that is the only thing i do as far as meditation/grounding. Protection, i use heavily on. I have had a bad start, and spirits and such scare me(: Although, i havent really done a ritual. I have done many meditations and groundings and protection spells. But, i end before i call my circle, or the Goddess. Mostly because i havent learned about it yet, and i dont know how to control my powers, and my directing my energy.

I sort of have to hide around...

So my altar is actually a box under my bed.

Someday I'm just going to come out with it and get an actual table to set my objects on...

But I'll still have to keep it in the closet.

What can ya do?

I found a table/nightstand thingy that I think would work perfect... Now I just have to get paid...

Although there is a table MUCH closer that I might get, but it doesn't have the storage like the one I'm drawn to... but the one I'm drawn too needs to be repainted and some care...

BUAAAAHHHH

It makes my head hurt. :(

I'm excited though... I'm going to move some stuff around in my room and set up a table within the next couple weeks... my punishment is to clean my room/organize the pile of cords surrouding my computer...

My reward for doing so, is getting an alter table and cloth. :)
