A Light so Beautiful


A light so beautiful
I wish I could just once
touch it,
No I am too ugly
for such a perfection
Only a dirty little girl
with no where to go.
You have used
up all you had
so now there is
no one to blame
but you
but me, it was all me
from your first step
just me
to reflect
to die
fade away
to go amongst
the floating bodies in the river,
to the cocaine cover dreams
of a never ending yesterday.

The Trap

I was a bird
flying over the world
ignorant in my own bliss
I saw you behind the window
that's when i fell into your trap.
you came out and
cradled me in your arms
I begged you to mend me
I can't bare to be torn any longer
My ears are so thirst for the words
I fear you will never say

My thoughts are blurred
twirling around inside my head
in this unbreakable nothingness
Today the flowers are all dead
I smothered them with lies
Underneath this solid ice
I can't breath the water without
filling my lungs with blood.
Wrist decorated with silver scars
that never heal and
are always on display
to this unforgiving world,
where all people are high court jugdes
the only sentence ;death.
I can't seem to hide
behind this mask anymore
I guess it is too transparent
Everyone stares into
my sheltered eyes
and sees the shame.
Blame me for all you've lost.
Can't bare it anylonger.
Not strong enough to please you,
withering away without a sigh.
I am a stranger in my own skin.

Honey and Flowers

Gentle master of mine,
can we play another game?
This one hurts my head
all the screaming inside
I think I'll sleep on the porch
with a pot to catch the rain.
Monday Night football is over
can I put my clothes back on?
I promise we won't tell mommy
She'd be so mad at me
Tomorrow is my birth day
all I want to do is bleed
The pretty scars will match my dress
May I have a pony.
Your hands around my neck
so hard to breath
this is so much fun
I am glad you show your love
we must do this agien some time
I know we will have fun agien.
Do you remember old Mr. Golden
yeah he died today
We should bring over fruit cake
Let's go fishing down at the pond
I know a short cut
but along the way
don't touch the butterflies
they hurt so much when they bite.
