Personal Qualities of the Elements

So, I have been reading through the Elements section, and noticed a few members talking about certain identifiable characteristics that they share with certain elements....

For example..."I am stubborn, like Air"! Meaning that the characteristic of being 'stubborn' is a shared character trait of Air. (Much like characteristics shared by certain sun signs).

So what are the character traits of each of the 4 elements?

As a water sign and the girlfriend of someone who is also a water sign, I have realised that we are nearly the same (we're both pisces)

We are both:
Artistic. For him, movies. For me, anything else

We love easily. We have both given all of ourselves to each other
very loyal. Almost like a dog

We both are psychic, him in his dreams and premonitions, me in my divination work.
We are both very spiritual. I would like to become a high priestess, but he doesn't really focus his life on it like I.
We both have addictive personalities.
We both tend to stray from reality. Fortunately, we can keep each others wishful and unrealistic thinking in check.
We are both really quiet and tend to be really shy.
When we do talk, and get to know someone, we are labeled as weird because we have random senses of humor.
We can feel each others emotions.

These are all characteristics of a pisces and a water element, some not as much as this, but we're pretty similar.

A lot of emotion, definately. Its also like being in a relationship with yourself. You already know what the other person is thinking, and feeling, and is about to say. I love it

I don't have to find new friends, I can talk to him about everything (but Witchcraft, thats why I hang out here

)

I am like you Ravencry. I am a water element too, and have much the same personality as you described...although I'm a Libra which is Air

I'm looking more into this, but I wonder what the Air characteristics are...surely, I wont fit them as much as I do water.

My moon sign is an Air sign. And I carry these characteristics as well. Before I connected with Water, I always felt more connected with Air. Perhaps this is the reason that you don't connect with your Air sign? Maybe your moon sign overpowers your sun sign.

Wow I feel dumb. Lol

I believe that people have different connections to different things, whatever reason it may be. Perhaps (you mentioned this on another post) that it is your smoking, or maybe (not saying you in particular) people consider air such a boring element, simply because no matter where you go, theres air present. (Except for underwater. Even then, there are small amounts)

That was quite informative! I realise now that I have both water and air characteristics in my personality, not only water like I originally thought. I enjoyed that very much!

Wonderful. I'm glad you enjoyed that. I am doing a thorough search, and will put together all the websites I use on the 'website' forum regarding element guidance.

Air turns out to be a very valuable element....

And with a few days of reading, I have realized too that I am more Air than I knew....

So, am now a self proclaimed Air and Water also, which is leaving me feeling quite 'whole'
