Recurring tarot card?
Do any of you have a card that seems to pop up every time you have a tarot reading done on you? For my fiance, it is the moon card. Just about every time I do a reading for him, or someone else does a reading for him, the card is drawn. Does this happen for anyone else? Any theories on why it happens?

Last year I kept getting the Tower. Hmm, lets see: husband and I separated, son in motorcycle accident, got my hours cut, other son possibly a father, I got a new job, sons got their hours cut and I helped them out financially. Gotta love that Tower It wasn't easy but I learned a few things. Ex or whatever he is now is considering getting back together and I'm getting the Lovers card and the Hermit. I think this means a time to think and make wise decisions.

For a while I was getting the 7 of wands in every reading, it corresponded very well with what was happening in my life at the time. It was so obvious that the deck was trying to tell me something with this card- at one point a card fell on the floor and I turned it over and guess what it was. So yes, these things happen for a reason. Our job is to figure out the reason for ourselves.
Ive read that if the jumping-out card doesnt correspond to anything in your life at the time, the deck might be trying to tell you there is an area in your life that you need to pay more attention to, that youre not aware of, by throwing the card at you repeatedly.

I am just learning so I do readings for practice.I have had this happen. So I should find out about the card and see if it has a message in it?
Thnx,I wondered about this but my book dosen't say anything about it.
Can anyone recommend some good books about tarot,or should I ask in the other tarot forum?

The Hierophant is probably the card that almost always appears in readings for me.

I am seeing the Hermit and the Hanged Man a lot at the moment. I interpret this as needing some solitude to work out a crossroads in my life. But the repetition of tarot always makes me consider the meaning in more depth, especially if it is a recurring major arcana card.

I used to get Ace of Wands when I read for one of my friends all the time.
Also, I seem to always get Justice when I read on another matter for myself.
