love is..
seeing stars that don't actually shine and
hearing your voice
calling my name..
the sweetest sound I have ever heard for the longest time
Love makes us loosen or grip to reality.
we tie ourselves to a daydream
The memories where we are together
where you say, "the moon is smiling at us tonight, love."
Love makes us forget the meaning of hurt, of pain.
Love is a steady crescendo of laughter and 'I love you's'
Love gives us the courage to dive into an ocean of fears
of insecurities..
because we know that love will always save us when we forget how to swim.
We float, making our way through the skies.
as if our bodies are filled with Helium
Greeting the universe with one big "Thank you"

that is why we are such a mess when love leaves..
we fall back to reality.
the colorful world we once had will be the greatest memory
that we will always try to forget.
That's why it hurts
knowing that you will never be as equally happy as you were before.

And the closest thing to happiness that you have is a broken heart.
knowing that was once whole..
