Today is thankfulness day for my orange tabby, Tag. The neighbor's dog got through the fence yesterday and attacked hhim. Tag is rarely outside, but it only takes once. He seems to have gotten away with just a shoulder strain from hanging where the dog couldn't get him. He's moving better today, and no bites.

Omg that's terrible ! I've always felt so upset when dogs get cats. You must have been quite shaken by the incident, as well as your poor fluffy baby!

I hope he recovers ok!

He's feeling better today. I could see the dog limping yesterday, so Tag apparently got his licks in. My husband was the rescuer. He said Tag had the claws in and was hanging under the dog where it couldn't bite him. That's why my cats rarely go outside. Tag's the ultra-stubborn exception to the rule.

Hahaha well at least he can say 'you should have seen the other guy !!!' :D

Mine are both jungle cats. They should have been nailed by snakes long ago. Occasionally Kimba brings home furry things the same size as him. They always put them by my altar which is a little off putting.

Glad Tag is ok

They know more about worship than you give them credit for.

Snowcat I think you are right. Kimbas favorite sleeping spot is on top of my large spellcrafting scrapbook ! He often brings me weird gifts like animal or bird feet... Last week I got 2 perfectly intact birds wings. We don't have scarab beetles here but we have similar beetles that are big and black that they enjoy presenting on the rug at any time. I think they are really sensitive to spirit energies also. They are like the 'canaries in the coalmine' that first notice visitors, human and spiritual.

I don't specifically work with Bast but I do often wonder if she is working with me in some way. I feel that she is a protective force in my home and occasionally make offerings to her.

Aw, a heartfelt offer to "Mama," perhaps. I think it's sweet, lol. By watching you, the cat instinctively knows now that the altar is a special place to put special things.

I'm happy to report that Tag is back to trying to poach right off our plates at dinner.

lol!!!!!

Business as usual then eh? Go Tag!

Glad to hear Tag is recovering. Mine have been staying out of trouble for the most part. The neighbors chickens got out yesterday and are currently MIA. I'm really hoping that they are not officially involved in their disappearance'. I found one random feather matching said chickens in the yard, but thus far no other evidence except they don't seem to be eating much. For the time being we are all calling it 'Chickengate'.
