Using My Pendulum:
So my friend who is getting back into wicca gave me my first pendulum. It is a beautiful rose quartz crystal on a red string. I mostly used it as a necklace, but a few weeks ago I decided to actually use it since my wallet had been missing for a week and I was getting desperate to find it. I looked up how to use it and went on from there. I asked it different questions like: had it been stolen?- no.
Is it still in my car?- no.
It it in the house?- yes!
I aske more questions of areas in my house until I narrowed it down to somewhere behind my ps3 in the living room. I tore the area apart looking through my shoe piles but nothing. I saw my purse (that I looked through many times) and asked if it was in my purse.- yes.......
So, just because it said so, I looked through my purse again, and still nothing..... I got mad and began back to my room to put away the crystal and restart my search, but something made me stop and turn. I looked and said maybe it didnt mean quite behind the playstation but just near it, so I went to the other side on my couch to take a quick look before I went back to my room......
Then I saw my blue purse I had taken to the library about a week ago... Yes. It was in there. I was so relieved and grateful! I said sorry and thanks to the pendulum and put it back. :woot:
Naming My Pendulum.
Tonight, I decided I wanted to be able to call my pendulum a name. So (after a bit of convincing) I started to ask some names and it got to:
Rose?- no
Too cliche?- yes.
Rapunzel!- no.
Really?- no
You dont like Rapunzel at all?- no
fine...... Elsa?-... yes
AWESOME!!!!
later: You should have said yes to Astrid- no
still like Elsa?- yes
So now her name is Elsa!

Very cool, and I love the name! I just got my first pendulum last week and I'm in love with it lol. It's a beautiful moonstone for my element, which is Earth (by my birth sign).
To Firebirdflys- Yes it would!!! I would have much rather asked where is my wallet than is it her... there? haha.

And thank you both about the name lol. I was thinking of disney names I thought were really pretty and fit a crystal so Rapunzel and Elsa came to mind.

I really should ask it's name! So far I haven't done anything too exciting because I don't wanna make it annoyed at me lol. I will try to find the name though, that sounds cool.
I made both of mine, one on the alter and one
I have hanging on the wall with a shiva lingam (sp?) stone next
to my chair in front room.
Mine is a one and a third inch amethyst, the top third is purple
and the other part is full of faerie frost. A longer chain than
usual...why I have no idea...but it works with a ametrine
heart on other end. I have a standard length one on my alter,
it swings too hard...click...longer chain ??? duh !
Spirit guides are in our lives some for just the time to learn
that lesson and it moves on. Some stay for longer but not
forever. I believe we have at least three with us permanently.
I was messing around with it one day and found out I had(have?)
a white female tiger and her name by going thru the alphabet.
That was cool, and then again...I can move it in the direction
I want it go, so I have to be careful the words chosen and not
think about which way I'd like it to go

Me too. I kind of know when not to listen because I thought of the answer first. however I wanted the name to be Rapunzel and it kept saying no lol.

I'm so happy Elsa is working out well for you Wolf-tigress! I too have the issue of wanting an answer and so many times I have ended up with the opposite of what my girl has told me. Sometimes I think she's smarter than me.
