Hi I've never Posted anything here, and I don't know if this is the right place to ask this but are cats able to see spirits? Do they somehow sense them? I'm asking because whenever my cat is in my room he suddenly looks confused. It also seems like he is following someone with his eyes. Is it possible?
Thank you and have a blessed day

I fully believe cats and animals in general can see spirits and even the wee folk.

Animals are closer to the spirit world then we are. They still have the instincts they were born with, while we humans have lost touch with ours over the years. They can tell us many things if we listen.
My ex's family had a cat that would "talk" to the ceiling. I knew something was up because her tone would be different than any other time she meowed.

We had a cat Spooky, he had a particular door way that he could not cross through without looking left and right and left again over and over, as if he was looking for the "guardian" of the door way. Then he would run through real quick.
I could tell Sampson was seeing all kids of stuff a couple days before he passed, wish we could have communicated.
Animals are definitely more tuned in than we are,
my bird Sacajewea could spot a hawk soaring so high you practically needed binoculars to see it.
I have come to rely on watching the animals for signs and signals in this world, and realms which we can't see.

Re: Are cats able to see spirits?
I do believe that animals can sense spirits, and like Adastra said, the wee folk. My cat chases them around all the time, and is very in-tune to them in general. My dog has become very aware of the presence of spirits ever since her companion passed away last summer. I myself see glimpses of them and feel them often.

In my opinion, animals haven't lost their connection to the Mother Earth as we have, unfortunately. They're very much aware of the changes in nature, the elements and balance of the Earth. As for spirits, I believe that because animals are so deeply rooted with the Mother Earth, they have the ability to sense the supernatural.

Re: Are cats able to see spirits?
I believe they do, our little cat is frequently looking upward
and sometimes "barks" (she don't meow!) at "air".
But in my thread, "innocent picture" my other cat sat down
on step-sons shoes when the kid took pic with cell phone.
Maybe since he took it close to the floor, I think the spirit
wouldn't show up if he took it at normal heights !?!
