Do any of you have trouble managing multiple altars?
I have 6 deities all related, which share an altar and never mind but as they take up most of my attentions my Fae altar sometimes falls by the wayside. Not on purpose of course but I find myself apologising often to my Fae family because of it. How do you manage your multiple altars?

What's been helpful to me is to follow a set of lunar rituals, so that if nothing else, each shrine sees at least one ritual each lunar month, and is dusted/cleaned off each lunar month as well. I do try to do more than that, but at least keeping the monthly commitment keeps things from being neglected for too long.

That is actually a very good idea, though my rituals do not follow any lunar cycle. Still it would work if I make a mental note to do so each month. Thank you Siona

I like Siona's lunar idea! The moon is an easy to remember "marker," of sorts. Me personally, while I won't have several deity altars going, I sometimes have several different types of workings going. For me different workings get different (temporary) altars, some of which may be outdoors in a park, in my yard, in other parts of the house, etc.
My main altar is kind of a hallowed place, yet relaxed. I feel like I meet up with my "family" there, so I do no workings there. The way I keep up with my spirit friends on my main altar is I've made a commitment to clean the altar every weekend at some point, without fail. Just removing things, spraying some cleaner, wiping down picture frames, emptying incense ashes, placing fresh flowers and/or offerings, general maintenance is a great way to "connect," like calling an old friend once a week and touching base.
I believe it doesn't need to be any fancy act, ritual nor working. Just an energetic "caress." I find the spirit folk appreciate the energy behind a gesture, and one's commitment to doing it, moreso than the form the gesture itself takes.
