Help Identifying a Stone from a Dream

Post by Falcon_Heart27 »

Hi all!

I just woke up from a dream, and one of the most prominent, attention-grabbing features was a hunt for some sort of stone, so I figured it might be of some importance.

Long story short, there was a young girl that was fleeing from someone who wished to do her harm, and I was harboring her. She also needed to acquire a certain (important) stone, and I had her describe it to me.

The traits are as follows:
• approx. 4 inch long point
• smooth, glassy texture
• she compared it to garnet, and said it had a reddish, wine-like color
• she stressed the point that it was very cloudy inside. Also, no bubbles or fractures.

Now, this all happened in a dream, so it might not resemble a real stone at all, but I was just so curious that I had to ask. Does anyone know of a stone that matches this description? I feel a great sense of urgency and need to find it, if I can.

Hello, Falcon!

So I can't really help you since I'm not a specialist with stones/gems/etc. I have, however, gone on many a hunt in hopes of finding a stone for a ring of mine that I have.

I've used this site many times as it's a database for gemstones and minerals which you can sort by color, birthstones, and names.

Here is a link to the red section:

Hopefully this helps! You never know - it could very well be a real stone. (:
