Ack! Head slap,
I remember now ...you posted that cool page with all the incense ingredients.
Nice smudge bundles. I usually burn them outside. And for the last couple years we have been having a problem with wasps wanting to nest next to the back door under the patio cover. The bundles work well to disperse them.
Keep up your lovely work, and thanks for sharing the pics.

https://ancientegyptonline.co.uk/kyphi/
Made cones incense once using five-spice-powder came out lopsided.
Have made small jars loose incense.
Found lots of recipes at https://incensemaking.com/

Made 2 thin smudge sticks using mugwort, marjoram, thyme inside, tied with red cotton thread..
Both lavender and rosemary plant died heatwaves past summer, but online shops
still have no stock, depend only on online shopping for all my things.

Resins recently order at one of those Lourdes in France online church supplies shops that ship to other EU countries, they sell small 10 gram bags resins and greek orthodox incense love the gardenia , so trying lots of new blends and things known to me like copal buy
bigger bag. From the dragons blood resin made small jar ink but it stay pale color.

Do not use charcoal, use small piece of fine wire metal mesh little distance over a burning tealight and sometimes resin inside the empty tealightcup on top of the fine wire metal mesh. No smoke just fragrance.

The Lourdes France shop also sells rosaries so inspired by that made some beaded pagan chaplets with leftovers czech glass beads from my hobby.

Diy today birch leaf cologne, shred leave by hand to 2/3 cup loosely packed, boiled cooled off water, 1.5 tbsp vodka
add to bottle, will shake few times daily, will wait weeks until scented then strain.

Jar infusion birch leaves fresh for my footbath for arthritis just pain cool water use tomorrow. Past weekend did lemon balm footbath.
Jar lid rusted so is cloth stiffened with water diluted white glue and ribbon tied around, to cover it.

Going to make a cup of fresh birch leaf tea, spring fresh leaf has a milder note. Rest of birch leaves drying them.

Found some nice free printables online so with diluted watercolor paints using greens some yellows to colorwash.
See https://thegraphicsfairy.com/diy-herb-apothecary-jars/
This is so beautiful. I love the infusion and just how you did everything. Looking forward to your next one.

Yule potpourri recipe
Dried orange peel
Dried lemon peel
Dried mandarin peel
Pine needles and fir needles dried
Few pinecones dried
5 or 7 cloves or cloves powder
1 stick cinnamon split into small bits or cinnamon powder
If you have essential oils ad complimentary e.o. to the potpourri mix.
If you have thin ribbon diy mini bows in Yule colors green, red, gold.
I usually make enough to fill small bowls, teacup and few small sachets.
Supplies used are from my garden , my kitchen and crafts.
Mandarins are sold early this year so drying peels for my stash of dried citrus.
With a small cookie cutter you can make star shapes or just cut strips with scissors or for more rustic look shred bits. :)

I made some curly cues with the tangerine peel, looks pretty in the bowl plus it adds that spiritual spiral symbol in the mix, perfect for the season.

Since you use up your floral water in 9 days, I wonder if you could keep it in the fridge to avoid the alcohol preservative?

Roses/cloves infused vinegar.

Upcycled large matchbox, decoupaged with bits of TP then cutouts crepepaper small leaves, then roll up berries and glue my fingers together with white glue. After it dried some watered down watercolour paint.

Upcycled Dalfour jam jar for a jar candle used cutouts from a old garden catalog and white glue.

Diy small jar candle dressing oil. Cinnamon powder 1 tsp and 1 tbsp olive oil.

Start Xmas/Yule decor crafts. A wood piece lettering JOY was too short for YULE. White acrylic paint 2 coats. My empty gold acrylic paint tube ad a pipette warm water, was enough for a gold wash paint coat.

To start my day inhale the scent like a smelling salts, it helps a bit. Tiny bit as scent for hair. In diluted form as altar water. For small mirrors in my purse/bag. In a bud vase on my nightstand as to scent room and tranquility.

Yesterday made just one small smudge stick mugwort, thyme and pine needles.
Try out some diy clay made 1 big leaf. Craft a bit on my Yule junk journal.

Watch several potions for decorations halloween apothecary bottles making videos but I prefer making practical things for using but a few things caught my eye, like the spider eggs from cotton balls could be a pagan supply like ad essential oils or roll in herbal powders.....
