Garden and yard work are keeping me busy despite all the rain we had. If I can scrounge up some more energy, I'll try to post a book review.

Hey good to see you, I hear ya on the yard work, but glad also to finally have something growing.
...wish we could have had a squeeze of that rain, it's getting a bit scary around here...drought wise.

Ug, drought is just as bad. We had 7 years of it where we lost one small lake and the others shrank. Now nature is making up for it. A bit of magic should help end your drought.

Thanks Corbin! The woman's voice is very conducive to meditation, I went and looked at her YouTube channel too, called the Wiccan Life.

So how the heck is everyone?
Did y'all have a good Lughnasadh?
I have one more celebration to attend this weekend, looking forward to meeting a new (new to me) pagan group in the town where I've been staying. Actually they are a Druid group, so a little different than my group. Still, will be nice celebrating with folks in the flesh.

I'm curious about the, oh... let's call it the natural community instead of supernatural. Feels like I'm reconnecting with a universe has been trying to tell me for years now.

I feel uncomfortable when I see pictures of like-minded people gather and everyone seems to be in costume. Specifically, it makes me feel like they have to be on the fringe. I just don't feel that way right now. Who knows where I'll be a year from now.

I have a feeling the sensation you are experiencing is the "coming home" kind of wonderment many of us have when discovering or rediscovering this path.

Same to you my friend. Was just reading about Mabon, the fall festival, etc. In fact, I've been a little too enthusiastic with my reading. I could read forever and never feel.

So, I read some great advice in these forums, it might even be you, about feeling energy and perhaps the best way is through psi balls. I've been meditating for 27 years and of course I'll have to alter my method a bit but I'm really excited to sort of tinker with the way I perceive the world and I do believe I can do it. The insight to will bridge will be well traveled. lol

I've also begun frequently recalling what now seem like instances of insight or instinctive clairvoyance. When my brother and I were 10 and 8 we would throw darts at each other. Obviously if you didn't catch it you had to let that tip bury in your hand so there was a great deal of incisive to know where the dart was in flight. I've had dozens upon dozens of moments when I didn't see something yet still avoided getting injured.

I may be good at this process we call spells, magick or witchcraft. I also have a strong feeling that I'm going to create my own spells and craft... I've also already started what consider to be my book of discovery that is the prelude to my book of shadows.

Cheers

I really like that book of discovery idea. Perhaps a topic on it?

Hello everyone, long time no chat. Sorry I’ve been MIA. My life took a turn when my son was born with kidney disease. He’s 2 years old and I recently donated one of my kidneys to him. He’s doing very well and I’ve recovered well too.

I haven’t been too attentive to my spiritual needs lately. I’ve been distracted by learning about the enneagram and more focused on learning about psychology and self awareness/development. But, I realized I need some spiritual practices in my life again so I came here for inspiration. Hope everyone is doing well!
