Belated blessed Beltain/Beltane!

Post by Nerys »

Been having more health issues so no posts for some time.
Tried to do small garden fire for Beltain tried thrice to light it but too humid it died 3x so went indoors. Too cold spring with my athritis. Just a big citrus candle, a little sip of Sherry and cake. Some quiet time. After that watch some youtube videos about pagan things.
Start my journal, making new one and writing in it same time and embellish pages.

Hi, that's really a bummer that your pain was too much for an outdoor fire.
I was, for the first time since I can remember being on this path, alone for the holiday. Having to care for my mom has removed me from being able to gather with my coven on a regular basis.
So I hauled out the fire pit in her backyard, build a substantial bon fire and had a wee time for reflection. Swung my leg over the fire a few times...because I cannot jump anymore, then bbq-ed a fine dinner.
We will do a Zoom ritual on Friday, but that is so lacking in the ability to raise any substantial energy, yet I am grateful for the continuity in celebrating despite our physical distance.
Hope you all had a great celebration!
