Does anyone do any type of spells for Thanksgiving? I've never thought about it before, but I just wondered about it. Maybe like a family blessing or something?

That would be nice, like a pagan prayer specifically for T-day, maybe a quick "to your health kind of spell utilizing that which would be on the dinner table already?

Ok then, I have an idea. Why don't we all throw in 2 words in relationship to Thanksgiving, and after we have several words assembled, say at least 20, then try to arrange them in a prayerful/spell-like manner. Deadline Wednesday! 11-24-21.
Ok ......GO!

I have a few. Thankful, blessed, love, family. I know that's more than two, but I thought those could help.

Blessed life that we behold,
For all family and friends who have traveled near and far.
This Holiday we find traditions of sharing
Of love and magic and comfort food.
With a pinch of salt thrown over the right shoulder
We are thankful for another year
So mote it be!

Good spell Firebird. We didn't have Thanksgiving yesterday but we will be celebrating with my nephew tomorrow. I will use this tomorrow. Now I suppose we need to focus on Winter Solstice.

Hey, thanks...it worked out real well. I passed the salt shaker around and every one poured a pinch in their left hand, they were like what are we going to do with this? I said when you hear the prompt, pitch the salt. Sweet little quickie. :)

Ok then Winter solstice.
I love the video Nerys posted about the magic mushroom and Christmas. I have a good book called Pagan Christmas, which also talks about the pagan roots of the holiday and the magic mushroom associations. This Yule-time season of the year focuses on, return/reborn/renewed God. They are finally beginning to discover the re-set qualities of the magic mushroom, no wonder it gets a reputation for this renewal time of year! Maybe we could post some of our favorite symbols of the season among other favorites this time of year and see about stirring something up in the cauldron to use in a rebirthing type of spell?
