Discussion of Christianity and other religious systems. How can we explain our faith to Christians? How can you merge your faith in Jesus with your belief in the metaphysical?

I can tell you that every time I read a post by you, everything seems to boil down to: "I say this because I am Muslim, and everyone who disagrees with me must disagree because they hate Muslims." I hate to break it to you, but not everything is about you and your religion. Sometimes, people disagree with you only because they don't see eye-to-eye with you. Please stop taking it as personal attacks.

And, to make something clear, I would still be saying this to you if you were Wiccan or Christian and writing the same posts with the word "Wiccan" every place you write "Muslim". I am not trying to attack you, just to point out that you need to let some things go. And please stop attacking the people who have been here a long time (especially moderators). It's rude, and as a fellow newbie, I have to ask you to stop before you give all newbies a bad name. They've been here longer, they have more experience, and are not trying to attack you or anyone.

i wasn't attack anyone here ok, i want talk anymore about this ... so lets finish this thing...

If anyone finds this guy annoying enough that you would leave the forum over it, please do let me know and I will gladly take care of the situation. The only reason I haven't already banned him is that he seems to be open to learning about paganism and I would like to think that we are doing something to help change the attitudes of Muslims and other fundamentalist know-it-alls. (Clearly, it's slow-going.)

I decided to share some scriptures about women from the Qu'ran in the "muslim!!!" thread that HallowHim started. (Page three of the thread.)

I've done the same with the New Testament. If you want to see New Testament scriptures about women, click that link.

It could be difficult to switch to a religion that teaches that men are equal to women. Won't it bruise your ego to be told that an intelligent, strong, rational male is equal to an irrational, hysterical, powerless female? (Actually, Gerald Gardener did treat men as superior to women in some circumstances, I've heard. Of course, that was written in the late 40's, before the Feminist movement really gained popularity.)

(I'm just messing around about the insults to women, but I would like to hear what a Muslim has to say about it.)

It's a whole other topic, but I'm not a huge fan of Gardner. His High Priestess, Doreen Valiente, on the other hand... I've read every book of hers I've been able to lay hands on. She is probably the only reason he had any success with Wicca.
