Psychometry?

So the other day I was in a thrift store, and I noticed that certain objects felt hot and also different somehow. Could this possibly be some form of psychometry? Or any other ideas - natural occurences or not?

maybe you were picking up on the energy left by the last owner, since you found it in a thrift store.

Is there a way to develop this, or become more sensitive to the energies? That's only happened to me a couple times with things other than natural items like plants or rocks.

Just be open with things, lower your severe shields that hide you from the 'world'...and if that doesn't work than you aren't meant to feel it all the time
