Please can anyone tell me what I might have seen????

I woke up a few nights ago and layed in bed for a few minutes completely in the dark

after a few minutes of laying there completely in the dark.....
a circle of blue light appeared that looked like it had very slightly moving watery light within it , it only remained for about 30 seconds and then it quickly faded away

the circle was about the size of bottle lid for pills or vitamins.... so like 4 inches maybe
so it was not small or big... maybe medium (i'm not an expert on describing size so I hope I'm describing the size correctly)

It is the first time I have ever seen this.....

Can anyone tell me what this might have been????

Since I've never seen this before I know I don't have any eye
problems... and my vision was actually just checked for the yearly
in June so you can't say that!!! Ok Please please please
tell me what this might have been!!!!!!????????????

Sounds like an orb. I have a photo I took with a blue orby type thing in. I will upload when I get on my computer...

Now I have some idea what orbs are...

but all of you are really knowledable on here about the spirit world...

so what is a good definition of an orb??

Is it a spirit than can appear in a human spirit form but chooses to appear as an orb instead not to frighten others???
Is it a newer spirit that has just passed???
I mean what is the true good definition of what exactly an orb is????
Why do they appear???????

where was the circle? like in front of you? or above you if you were laying in bed? was it moving? was the light inside moving? how were you situated in bed?

it sounds like you could have seen an orb. though, were you dreaming before you woke up? (if you remember!) sometimes when people wake up from dreams their brains are still somewhat in the dreaming state so people might still see images that were in their dreams. also, when you are tired, or have just woken up, or falling asleep...(like think of that state when you're falling asleep during class or something and your eyes go kind of cross-eyed) your eyes can see things you wouldn't normally be able to see such as auras or orbs. for example when i was on a school trip, i slept in the same bed as one of my roommates and her back was towards me. i was like "half-asleep" and i was able to see one of her chakras...(it was blue and swirling to the left...haha i remember!)

So many weird things can happen during the time between sleep and waking. People often speak of hearing rushing noises, loud thumps or clangs, hearing their name called, feeling paralyzed (I get that a lot). The other day I was lying down in a meditative state and saw a flash of light (like lightening) in my mind's eye. That happened two days in a row.

I suppose an orb is as good an explanation as anything else, but be aware that most orbs you see in photos are thought to be caused by the flash reflecting off of tiny bugs or dust that you can't see with your eyes but the camera picks them up and produces an "orb" in the photo. Orbs became commonplace after people started using digital cameras. This is coming from a site dedicated to ghost photos, so it's not as though they don't believe in spirit pictures. They just think an orb qualifies as a spirit.

My opinion is that you were probably in the half-awake/half-asleep phase and it's easy to see, hear, feel things that may not really be there. I hate to take the mystery out of things for people but I've become more skeptical as I've grown older.

to me it sounds like an orb but i was once told by a spirtlist that humans cant phically see orbs as its the first stage of manifestation of a spirt . All though this was told to me as i have said the way you have described it, to me it sounds like some sort of orb.

Wow lustvamp that you said it is the first stage of manifestation of spirit, because a person died that day that had moved out of state but was from back home here, I wonder if a spirit manifests back to the area it was born physically no matter where its body died?

That's what it sounds like to me. There has been a few times when I thought I saw myself looking down at me, whe I was waking, and sometimes, when I astral project in my sleep, I find it hard to wake up..or it's like my spirit doesn't want to return but I'm waking.

Im not sure they go back to there birth place i think they go back to the building or ground that they was sistuated on before they died, say for instance if you died in a hospital you would go back to your home because it was where you spent most of your life.

Very interesting. Because I have a similar picture taken years ago while I was visiting a monastery. I did not see the actual thing myself but it showed on film, was like a light circle like that on a side of the pic, covering me a bit. After that my friend stood in the same place I did (in front of some monks' houses on a staircase) and on her pic you can see the circle too so there's no way the film was tampered with or damaged in any way. That white globe was there. Do you think it might have been a ghost, I've been thinking about that for years.
