Oh How the Darkness Doth Consume

Post by motstudios »

this is a poem i wrote awhile back.

Oh How the Darkness Doth Consume

Into the darkness I must wade,
Through the mists of isolation,
Unto myself I am betrayed,
Into the realm of desperation.

My mind endures torment,
never ending pain.
My emotions lay dorment,
Until the blessed rain.

Through the mist I advance.
Always pushing on.
Forever in my trance,
Wishing for the dawn.

Unto the darkness I travel alone,
Wishing for a sign.
My day will come and I shall rise,
My darkness just benign.

Wow. I liked that. It reminded me of some days I have.
