Re: Favorite Herb?
My Favorite? Well I don't really have a favorite....
But If I had to choose, I would choose the herb I first started with: Rosemary
Not only is it a sweet smelling herb, but its properties are amazing.

Remember the stars that filled the sky
Remember the moon that shined so high
Remember the tree that was so small
Remember me,
Remember it all

Black tea.
Even before brewing a cup it just soothes me.
Then there's the whole mini-ritual of preparing a cup: Boiling water. Measuring the leaves. Pouring the hot water over the tea sachet. Watching the color change and the steam rise. Straining. Sweetening. Tapping the spoon three times.

There are lots of herbs I really love, but I think mugwort, garlic, and rosemary probably top the list. Dill, basil, and cilantro are up near the top, too. (Cinnamon is probably the top of the spice list for me, I use tons of it both in ritual and cooking!)

Re: Favorite Herb?
For me it would be rosemary (omg I love the smell!!), basil, dill week, garlic, cinnamon, roses (does that count???) and lilies (again, does it count or no??)
Re: Favorite Herb?
My favorite herb is definitely Lavender! I use it for just about everything! I also really like Nettle. I brew it in teas, etc. Rosemary is also a must have in my house. Then again, I also adore white sage for smudging and basil and cinnamon for cooking! lol
So hard to pick a favorite, but I did my best! lol

I feel an especial bond with Lavender, and have done a fair amount of magical workings with it. I'm also partial to dandelion, white sage, and tobacco.
love is the whole and more than all
Re: Favorite Herb?
There are so many amazing herbs out there it's hard to pick! I also love peppermint, especially in tea; or lavender. They are both so calming.
