I made my own "Tarot cards"

I made my own set of cards. But they just have symbols I put on them to mean certain things.... Do you think it will work the same? How can I make sure?

They should work the same, as long as you feel connected to them. The only way to test them is to ask a question and see the results.

I think that is a FANTASTIC idea. The more you do for yourself instead of going out and buying it you will find to be more effective then purchasing!!! ATLEAST with most things.

Test them out.

Only thing that I would do to them is to bless them either on the FULL MOON or New Moon. I Myself would use the new moon. and if this isnt possible you can do it on a Monday at 10pm which is the day of the moon in the hour of the moon. and say a prayer over them to consecrate them. I would use purple candles and have amethyst on hand to help with the work.

thank you all for your thoughts and comments.... yeah i did charge them withenergy.... i thought i would fill them with white energy then purple energy seeming purple representsa the third eye....

Another vote for yes they will work the same.

As a case in point, a member of TABI (Tarot Association of the British Isles) put out a major arcana only set that has been designed using only words (ie the name of the card eg strength) and different fonts on the cards...... they work just fine too.
