Totem animal question..
Totem animal question..
Totem animal question...My totem animal is a brown ferret named Elyssa, but my element is air. Do these correlate or do I have two totem animals?
Re: Totem animal question..
I too, had a black footed ferret, who was my familiar.
I don't think your totem and your element have to correspond, they are not interrelated. You can have more than one totem and they do not have to be of this physical world, (ie. dragon). Your totem is an entity that helps you in this life path. They teach us lessons, are there to comfort at time of stress or need, and encourage us to move forward, they appear when we need to be paying attention to something, that we would otherwise miss.
You wonder about a totem of Air,...who/what is it that flies into your life frequently? That may be your totem of air.
