Stones & Their Properties
Stones & Their Properties
Might anyone know where I can find a good source of listing stone's magickal properties? What I have at the moment is decent, but it is a limited list. So, If anyone could point me to a point where I can find a large list of said properties, I would be grateful.

Hey DragonFox,
I am a stone and crystal practitioner. It is often easy to go with what other people say about the properties of crystals--but I find that it is not all accurate. Nevertheless it is a good starting point to get the user to hone in on stone energies.
For books on this, get Melody's "Love is in the Earth" series. They are by far the best works on this to date. Also, Judy Hall's "Crystal Bible" is good for a beginner.
There are some sites that list some of this, but rank low in comparison to these books. Here's one that is quick and easy:
http://www.netcaa.com/tumblestonepage.html
Or,
http://www.rainbowcrystal.com/crystal/stonecat.html
However, most websites will not list some of the newer crystal discoveries nor some of the rare ones. If you cannot buy the Melody book, and you have a particular stone interpretation that you want, then post it here or write to me directly and I will gladly provide with with the info.
Blessings,
bsp
