Energy Blockage?

I am excited about working with energy, but every time I get started I feel like quitting. I experience a lack of motivation and I get thoughts about how it isn't working, etc... Can anyone help me find the reason behind these complications?

It could be something on a larger scale. A dowser that I talk to on another forum has mentioned something similar. I'll look back through what he's said, and post something more specific later.
