Beginner at potions

Post by Amethyst Lupus »

I am beginning my potions skill and I am wondering what are the most used potion ingreadeants because I have only limited space to grow them. A book for potions would also be good if anybody knows a useful one.
Any help would be apretiated. Thank you

I am only just studying Kitchen Witchery myself. This is the most common term when we talk about potions, teas, poultices, incenses, etc. I believe there are many books available that focus specifically on Kitchen Witchery but I won't pretend to know which ones are worth reading. I'm reading things online before I invest cash hehe.

I would try to grow basic herbs like rosemary, basil, sage, thyme, lemon balm, mint, lavender, chives, oregano...those alone will take up about a 5x5 patch of dirt. But those are the most basic ...I may have missed a couple...There are quite a few dry goods you can get in your spice isle at the grocery. Let us know what you end up planting, K?
