My new full moon tradition

I’ve decided to start a tradition for each full moon in honor of Aphrodite and her encouraging me to move on and let things go. This ritual will involve taking a few solid steps, with a symbolic action and help me by marking this inner transformation in a formal way.
Step one will be done by casting something I don’t want into the flames-
1) Write what I’m releasing down on a small slip of paper.
2) Resolve to let go as I set it on fire and let it burn in a fire safe dish.
3) Bury the ashes as deep as I can into the earth.
Step two will be making a special journal-
1) Take a picture of each full moon.
2) Place and date it in my journal
3) Write what my goals are and what I need to work on until the next full moon (also go back to the following month and update to see if I stuck to me plan).
