Unique hair dye???!!'

Post by MOTHERofDRAGONS »

I want to color my hair, naturally.
The colors I want, not natural in the least bit.
Does anyone know of flowers, herbs, whatever.. I can turn my hair deep purple, plum, cranberry even ghost white? Black? Blood red? I used koolaid last time.. What a damn nightmare. Washes out in a week.
I want it to last or 3-4 weeks.

Help me please!!

:anxious:

That is a good link.
I like the idea of Henna, I just have dark brown/red/maroon/copper/ and a bit of sand color of hair..

(being Irish has its downfalls, I guess!)

I and going to use that link, ans see if I can't get any Texas Bluebonnets or Indian paintbrush in to see what colors I can explore.
(don't tell anyone I pick Bluebonnets, .. Shhh. Our secret!)I always ask Gaia before using her gifts. And wait to see if I get a negative feeling..or positive..
I love how she can talk to us!
Thanks again for the link.. If I get the desired look, I might post it. If I have the guts. :-)

Nice link, BabyBear. :D I usually dye my hair some variation of red, and it would be nice if I could keep the burgundy shade around longer. Usually burgundy ends up brown after a while, no matter what brand of dye I use. :( The website's recipe sounds like a good replacement for the shampoo I used to use for keeping my hair red longer. Thank you for sharing. :)

Manic Panic is a natural, Vegan semi-permanent hair dye. It usually lasts for about 2-3 weeks for me..I love it.

Hey guys, I thought I would share these links about henna. Pretty much a FAQ sheet.

Here's also a Warning to read before using henna on your hair.

Common mistakes and tips using Henna

Thank you for the link...Alura. .. Knowing all the I fo is always a good idea.

I also use Manic Panic, on occasion.. Raymelae. When I want vibrant colors, it's a great choice.washes out very quickly.. Which could be a good or bad thing, depending on your daily life.
