Changed the title of the thread. In the future (and this applies to all posts), please title your posts to be more descriptive of your actual topic/question. This makes it easier for everyone to navigate the forum.

Thanks,
Xiao

Baby bear, this is red splotches on a black based stone...I know what red jasper is. On the back-side of her head when in light there's a faint shimmer of gray like you'd expectin moonstone.
When I bought it she said it was Dragon's Bloodstone...when I tried to get another one of these rocks only hng that came up was...you guessed it green bloodstone ??? I guess I need to find out where the rock shop in town is

How about Dragon blood jasper or Chinese Bloodstone? Have you looked on http://www.skullis.com/ ? They've got pictures of quite a few skulls that look similar to yours.

hey MsMollimizz
its okay and yeh i get what your saying but that happens with Brecciated Jasper also for example on the site that Echo posted theres looks like this

and another looks like this

Image

the colors very between them (some even have a moss green or a yellow/orange looking mix) but always end up being some form of jasper (usually red or dragon blood) mixed with another stone

I like the top one ! Looks like the red is an overlay on
agate...
I have tried to search for this stone as I want another
to go with it; like the Kambaba Jasper skull, I got a
stone with the spots that normally are posted for
that stone. I know of one more like it but she will
probably not sell it to me...? I guess it never hurts
to ask, huh ?
