The spirit element

Post by nightstar »

What is everyone's opinion on the "fifth" element (spirit).... a lot of the text that I have been reading excludes this element... and how would one call upon this element into one's circle? What would the symbol (Theban, Germanic or otherwise) that would best represent this element?
The reason why I am asking is that seems to be my ruling element....it is the only one that seems to fit with my energy.
any thoughts?

Ahhhh the energy of Ether, the thin and vaporus ever wavy veil, the time between times and the spaces between the worlds. The place that tis nither up nor down, nor here or there. The place of return through the green primordial ooze of Cerridwen's cauldron. It is the pure spark of life, and a place of perfect wisdom.
The double helix is it's symbol.
