Sol and Selene...Sun and Moon
that is just one example, many other traditions have their names for the sun and moon. And i think many other peoples have considered the sun God and the moon Goddess, however there are a few who view it the other way around.
I have always been very drawn to the sun and moon and see them as the guiding masculine force, and the subtle feminine force, and do consider them to be god and goddess, though I work with Lugh also, who is a sun God.

I use the names Father Sun and Grandmother Moon. I think it's all in what you feel, individually.

I had posted a question semi-seminar about this and I'm glad to see your answer snow cat. I think each of us might be given different names and images based on what we are going to be comfortable with and based on how we will interpret it.SnowCat wrote:I use the names Father Sun and Grandmother Moon.
