Candle outage

I burned a blue candle for a coworker to get well and asked the god/goddess to grant my plea. The candle burned a quarter of the way and snuffed it self out. Why? Is there something on her?
This coworker and I used to be close friends, but then some disagreements broke that friendship a part. Was the god/goddess saying that they are not granting my wish.
Any ideas? thanks for the help.

It's possible that it could simply have been the candle itself. I've had candles snuff themselves out before when the flame was drowned out by the wax, or the wick fell off, etc. If it'll make you feel better, though, Aceso, you could simply ask the god/goddess if there was a further reason for why the candle went out.
