The Peace and Love Moon

Post by Firebird »

Greetings all you gentle people :fairy:

Due to the horrific overload of recent tragic events in our nation and the world along with the scariest presidential campaign in US history, it would seem plausible the egregore of hate-fear-rage-anger-sadness-depression is feeding like a king...and growing and growing and growing.
It's time to counteract that.
Our coven will be doing specefic work geared at promoting the egregore of
Peace and Love
the 19th of July, please tell your group or a friend (to tell a friend. .. to tell a friend...to tell a friend, etc...)
To visualize peace and love and how that feels.
Do this during your full moon ceremonies, prayer circles, groups, yoga classes, meditations ...whatever it is,

Let's agree to combine this energy on the astral, can you all join me???

Here is a rough outline
You will need -
1. A blue candle or a blue glowstick
2. An item that brings you great peace and a deep feeling of love (it can be anything, be creative)

A. Within your ceremony take a moment to hold the item and let the energy it represents fill your being, really let it saturate you on every level.
B. Light your candle or crack the stick and see the peaceful loving glow of blue-white light
C. Then raise a cone of power and merge love/peace feeling with that blue white light to join with all the others who are sending this energy to feed the greater love/peace egregore.
D. Ground.

♡♡♡
One could certainly expand on this simple working using herbs, oils, crystals, crystal grids, prayer flags, feathers, statuary. We will probably set up a permanent grid. Make a sanctuary, vist it often, leave offerings and feed into the peace and love egregore.

Negativity of any kind must be parked-tabled-avoided-off the conversation menu for the full span of the ritual and every time you visit your sanctuary.

PLEASE JOIN US JULY 19, 2016
Thank you
Blessed peace and love be,
Firebird

Are you using any other symbols besides the candles, like the peace or heart sign?

That would be great corvidus :D they could be drawn too or etched in wood? I like it a lot!
It was designed to be simple for folks that didn't have access to any other supplies, and with the glowstick even our pagan young people can participate without raising an eyebrow from a parent by needing to light a candle.
Adding any symbolisms that evoke the love peace feeling/energy to your altar will enhance you work greatly. We will probably have flowers, a blue cloth, gentle music...things that some of us will be bringing that represent great peace and love are items like a photo of a dear loved one, a special rock from vacation, a watch that belonged to a parent, the toy of their child. It will be interesting to see what people bring.
@Xiao...cool !thanks :fairy:

Bright love and peace,

Maybe I can get my grandkids to draw hearts with their sidewalk chalk. Maybe I will get some sidewalk chalk and do some drawing.

Yup, I plan on using just a regular blue ink pen and white paper.

This is one symbol I will be using:

Another is the Rose Quartz my mom gave me ;)

In fact, when I get home I'll draw out the 'circle' I have in my head and post it up, if others want to incorporate it as well.

Yeah!, that image carved in wood is outstanding! Did you make it Corvidus?
I'm really liking the peace signs and heart symbols, and Snow that is a great way to get the kids involved :fairy: I have a ton of chalk think I'll draw up my sidewalk too! Thanks for the great idea. smiley_dance

I have to remember to buy chalk. There's something else knocking at the back of my mind now, but I can't quite grasp it. Maybe later.

During our city's summer art festival someone built a huge peace sign out of rocks on the sandbar in the middle of the river. It was not an exhibit for the art contest, just a spontaneous joyful participation.

Thank you thank you all!
I want that wooden peaceheart! Better carve my own :fairy: ha! Don't think that will happen in a day without power tools!
Has anyone posted this on their social media? We have today and tomorrow to spread the word.
Peace blessings!

Here's the 'base' image I'll be using. Not perfectly symmetrical, but it'll do for me :)
I was going for a 3D sphere type look.
I'll be supplementing it with gemstones and the blue candle -- everything anointed with oil.
