Does Hecate have any other names she goes by?
Was just wondering does Hecate go by any other names?
Re: Does Hecate have any other names she goes by?
She was associated with the Roman Trivia, and with the Greek Artemis, and Selene to some extent - in later times you'd see Hekate-Artemis, or Artemis-Hekate-Selene, particularly in Roman-era Greek poetry. They're not necessarily all the same goddess, but they are quite strongly linked at times, if that makes sense. She had many titles, as well... such as Perseis (destroyer/child of Perses) Soteria (savior), Enodia (of the wayside/crossroads). Not sure if that helps at all?

Oh, you might find http://www.theoi.com/Khthonios/Hekate.html helpful if you haven't been there already. Has more info, family ties, more titles, etc.
