Hi guys and gals,

I am looking for your opinions onto the best tools to trim your tarot cards that you use?

I am new to trimming cards and have never done it before so any advice is very appreciated.

Are saying you want to CUT them? Like along the edge??
I do not recommend this, why do you feel the need?

BEST tools to TRIM your Tarot Cards

I'm assuming you mean to cut the trim off the cards. I've considered doing this. My cards are just a tad too long to shuffle well in my smaller hands, so I've wondered if taking the trim off would help, since I don't need the trim to understand the meaning of the card. I would assume you want to get a something to make perfect round corners. Not sure what to use to cut the cards sides off first. There are a lot of YouTube videos out there about this. I've watched them before but it's been a while. Do some searching and I'm sure you'll find some ideas.

Yes, along the edge just so they can fit in my hands better when shuffling and with many oracle decks space can become an issue both in the space of the whole layout and the individual card, like I mentioned earlier, to shuffle in your hands.

I'm thinking of getting something called a Corner Cutter with adjustable sized 2mm, 5mm, etc...

Also, I am thinking about getting one of those professional cutters with the ruler lines on the left, and the cutter on the right.
I just can't remember the name of the word. It's on the tip of my tongue?

Thank you so much.
Paper trimmer that's what it's called.
So I've decided to get the corner cutter and a paper trimmer. I will keep everyone updated on my little project once I receive my materials.

Agreed. They are made of several layers of paper compressed together, then sealed by a gloss finish that holds the layers together. Cutting into that will create frayed, fuzzy edges, actually making the cards harder to use (and not look so nice). But, do as you see fit, and let us know how it works out.
