LBRP

Post by Bychan Wulf »

I somehow got to read about "higher magick", which didn't seem too white, and one of the most important rituals for this practice is the "Lesser Banishment Ritual of the Pentagram".

In the chant, there are Angels summoned, but the entities that are summoned afterwards are closer to the demonic description.

My question is: this ritual is only performed by those who practice this type of magic, or do white witches do it too? And what exactly is it's purpose? It looks like a more advanced cleansing ritual.

PS. If it's not appropriate for the crowd, please let me know so I can spare the mods from extra work, and delete it myself.

Anyone can perform this ritual. Personally, I prefer using elements or names of god correspondences for the pentagrams rather than the angels.

You're correct, the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram is an advanced cleansing ritual. It is mainly used before a ritual or working to clear the area, and again after the ritual to clear away any excess energy (from the ritual or spell). Typical spell with this ritual would look like this:

LBRP
Cast Circle
Spell or Working
Close Circle
LBRP

If it turns out to be inappropriate for some reason, you can message me about it.

Thank you!
There is a guy who told me about that, and he talked about a strange feeling. He said that it feels " like heaven and hell" at the same time. That's what brings my next question: Is it part of something higher, or can it also be done by those who work with "lower energies" too? People on YouTube looked a little bit odd, while doing this.

I used to use LBRP all the time. It's actually pretty great banishing ritual and for the lack of a better term, "tunes" me for spell work like nothing else.

I used to perform it before and after spells and rituals instead of casting of circle, but if you generally cast circles, that's up to you. In my view, it creates a protected space you can work in and after you are done, gets rid of the leftover energies.

I don't see anything odd about performing the ritual, but then again, I have never watched myself performing it ;) Or maybe these people meant to look odd? To look more "magickal"?

Thanks for answering this! It sounds like something nice and positive! I think I'll try it myself sometime, when there is no family member around..I don't want to give then a wrong idea :- ))

It's possible that they made it look that way for the audience. It looked a little bit like an exorcism, so I just said nope, not for me.
But now, with what corvidus and you said, I'm seriously thinking to give it a try!

You can use it with anything, as far as I have experienced.

I've used this ritual with the four elements, the four archangels, the four elements along with the arch angels, with the approprate Hebrew Names of God, and with all of them together.

Some people use individual Futhark runes to charge the pentagram during the banishing ritual. It's quite an adaptable ritual if you consider the pentagram/#5 as a universal symbol.
