Sorry I have not updated in awhile. Everything is crazy at the house.

I am attempting to go back to school. I think I want to do music.

On another note, if y'all have me on FB but have not seen much activity it's because I switched accounts. This is the new link: https://www.facebook.com/xuchilpaba

My grandma got pneumonia and died. About the 23rd of December she told me she was dying, which made me feel bad. On Christmas we had to have her hospitalized. During the early weeks I had dreams of her, while she was in a coma, telling me she was ready to go. I completely believe that.

The hospital made her live longer than what she wanted, but she was not coherent enough to say anything like that. I saw her yesterday and she looked as if she were in her dying throws. (I'd seen it with my other grandparents before.) I told her I loved her.

Today she died when I was not around, but I am glad I had seen her yesterday.

I am sad, however, a little at peace because she was ready.

She was not Shakta (Hindu) nor a pagan, I don't want to perform all the traditional rites for her since she was a Christian. SO, I am lighting a candle and praying to Shiva and Kali for her. I want to cobble together something that will help her pass, as well as not offend her. >.>;

Lady Lilith,

My heart goes out to you in your emotional pain and grief. I reach out my hand to you. If I can help, and having a friend to converse with always helps, contact me in your time and at your need. Another matter has called me to converse with my Lady Death, gentlest of entities. I will thank her for easing your grams way to a different realm of existence. Before I could planewalk, I was and still am, an Adept of the Light. The service for someones passing that I do is very basic and non-denominational. I think you're gram would approve. Other Christians who I've performed the ritual for someones passing for and knew of my spirituality and order have approved {including my mother's minister}. I will tend to it immediately.

That might be okay, I lit a candle for her just now. She was pretty open for a Christian, never bothered anyone about her beliefs. I am sure she won't mind. :)

Lilith,

I've performed the service. I asked that all who she had loved and proceeded her be blessed, that she be blessed and aided as she makes the decisions she need make to continue on her path and finally that all who loved her and miss her be blessed with peace and the knowledge that she loves them still. So, in my office and responsibilities have I asked of the Light.

Planewalker, Adept of the Light - done this day.

L,
If I can help let me know. It's what I do and who I am.

Hi Lady, so sorry to hear about you G-mum. I'll light a candle too, If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.
When my grandmother passed I was glad to be able to open the windows in the convalescent hospital she had been in.
She seemed to be smiling after that.
It was good you had that last little bit of time together.
condolences, Firebird

How are you doing today dear?
Did you say if there will be services?
I frequently like to quote the poem "do not stand at my grave and weep" it's so very pagan in my veiw yet it seems to make all happy. I did choke a bit when I recited at dads funeral :(

I'm doing better with this grandma's death, then my granny's. We won't have services for awhile. We're burying her in New Mexico so it will be likely next week before anything happens. I am in Cali now, we're leaving Friday.

Since grandma died I am at home taking care of grandpa. Both were disabled and grandpa needs a lot of help.
