What you see is what you get
___but so much remains hidden.
The doors only open
______only for a chosen few
___selectively.
Never are they thrown wide open.
Shelter in the shadows.
We all wear masks,
___we all have shadows.
Some are more convincing
___than others.
Some slide unwantedly,
Revealing the things
___they were entrusted
______to hide.
Why are we so afraid to hurt?
To love?
To laugh?
Why are we so afraid of joy?
