Accidentally Communicating with People

Yesterday I went to the beach alone to spend some quality time thinking to myself. I was wandering around in the ocean quietly thinking to myself when several people near me turned around and asked me to repeat what I had said despite the fact that I hadn't said anything.

Anyone else have the problem of getting lost in your thoughts and accidentally communicating with some of the people around you? Also, I've heard in some places that salt water can sometimes amplify powers... Is this true?

I used to have that happen sometimes. I improved my shielding over time, so my thoughts don't leak out and run around in other people's heads.

I've had it run both ways with sending and receiving unintentionally, and especially at the beach. In my case it's Lk Michigan or walking along the river. Living water amplifies psi. Even natural springs have an impact.

I don't have a clue of how to control the ocean and that's probably chaos magic. If you can find a significant water flow you can learn to put it to good use. I live two city blocks from the Hudson River just below where the Mohawk flows in. At it slowest flow in high summer the water meanders along at 2-3 MPH, slower than a human walk. Doesn't seem like much strength, until you remember it's between 25 - 40 feet deep and just under a 1/2 mile wide. A really good thunder storm with a consistent rainfall afterwards can wake me from a sound sleep if it hits 50 to 75 miles away across the Adirondacks. I will sometimes use it on family. I may want to say something but save having the argument it would engender. I do have to be careful when my daughter is home for a visit. One of my best students but she likes to listen in sometimes.

Wow. I wish I was advanced enough to do that, even if not on purpose... I mean, that sounds like a tough matter.

Not that I never heard of it before, but I don't think I ever experienced it. Will I ever be able to reach that level, or are you all born with something special...?

We are all born with something special, but you want to know about communicating. Skills are best developed by practice. Focus your intent, the doing of work by unusual means. Energy is changed, it is not destroyed.

I think everybody has some psi in them. It's a part of human nature, part of how the brain functions. If we recognize it and are open to it, then we can work with what we've got. We use it without even knowing we have it.

Like, when you can feel someone is watching you in your back, and they are...?

I had some gut feelings and the like, I think, unless they were coincidences or just me being tensed. Maybe someday I'll get to know more. For now, I feel like it's not the path I should take first...

Just stay aware that it happens and if you think you feel it just step back, view it logically and decide if it was real. I think your right to not focus to tightly this early in seeing where your path leads.

Telepathy ! It might be worthwhile to practice. Not having the ability, I'm at something of a loss on how one would do it. It would be a great help when playing cards. That could be the least of the situations you could us it in.
